D.J. Swearinger S Houston Texans

The Houston Texans took D.J. Swearinger out of South Carolina in the 2nd round, where he was known for his big hits and attitude on the field. With all the rules in place to protect the legs, Swearinger hit Dolphins TE Dustin Keller low and blew out his knee resulting in a season ending injury. Swearinger swears he hit low to avoid the head, but multiple NFL players have come out against that hit.

Swearinger didn't start his first NFL game, a win against the Chargers on MNF, but did register two tackles. Here he is celebrating his birthday at the end of August with a big ass cake.
