Sean Smith CB Miami Dolphins
Miami Dolphins cornerback Sean Smith, a former 2nd round choice out of Utah, surrendered more combined first downs and touchdowns this year to opposing wide receivers in the NFL with a ridiculous number of 46. Now that he's set to become a free agent, maybe they could get him to return at a more team friendly price.
Wrong. Smith is reportedly looking for a contract similar to what Dallas Cowboys cornerback Brandon Carr or Tennessee Titans cornerback Jason McCourtey are receiving. They got $50 million and $43 million respectively over 5 year contracts - or $8-10 million per year. Something tells me he isn't going to get that. So here he is drunk this offseason with safety Chris Clemons, which started early for the Dolphins.
