Jalen Saunders (above) transferred from Fresno State to Oklahoma this past offseason, and the NCAA approved his request for eligibility instead of having to sit out a year per NCAA rules. Saunders immediately became one of Oklahomas top offensive weapons notching 53 catches for 766 yards in just the last 8 games. Now he may not be available, along with cornerback Cortez Johnson, due to an arrest that occurred this past weekend.

Saunders and Johnson were arrested after complaints on charges of possession of a controlled substance. The arrest happened at around 2:30 A.M. and was allegedly for marijuana.  The arrest was after a traffic stop, though no other details have emerged yet.

Johnson is sitting out the year after transferring from Arizona. Oklahoma next faces Texas A&M in the Cotton Bowl, which Saunders may be suspended for.
