Trey Zeigler G Pitt
Trey Zeigler transfered from Central Michigan to Pittsburgh following his fathers firing as head coach for the Chippewas, and he was able to play immediately because of his fathers firing. This season he is averaging 6.2 a game, and the former top 30 recruit is averaging only 17 minutes per game. Now, I would expect that number to drop significantly down following his hilarious weekend arrest.
Police were called to an intersection by a cab driver saying that there was a man in the intersection passed out behind the wheel at around 3:15 A.M. Police identified Zeigler by his Michigan identification, and woke him up before he failed field sobriety tests. Police arrested him after he showed a BAC of .129 after given a breathalyzer. Police took him downtown and then he proceeded to throw up in the holding cell toilet. His parents were notified and they picked him up at around 5 in the morning. His 2 charges of DUI will be mailed to him.
Zeigler has since released a statement apologizing to just about everyone, and he has since been suspended indefinitely.
