Jonathan Amaya CB Miami Dolphins
Miami Dolphins cornerback Jonathan Amaya did the right thing after leaving a club in South Beach, however when he got into the cab he made some bad decisions similar to Patrick Kane and Aqib Talib.
Amaya flagged down a cab outside of a club and asked the cab driver to take him somewhere that was out of his distance. The cab driver then agreed to take Amaya there after Amaya paid him $100 upfront. Amaya allegedly became aggressive as they were driving and that cab driver returned to where he picked him up, returned the money, and then told him to get out of his cab. Then Amaya allegedly leaned forward and put his hands around the cab drivers neck and began choking him. Two off duty cops who were working the club saw the car driving erratically, and came up as the cab driver yelled about Amaya trying to kill him. He was arrested on battery charges at around 4:30 in the morning.
Jonathan Amaya is a 3rd year undrafted free agent out of Nevada. He has 35 tackles and two forced fumbles in his career mainly on special teams. Amaya's greatest claim to fame may be involved in the trade for Reggie Bush to come to the Dolphins.
