Deveric Gallington C Texas Tech

Texas Tech just surprised undefeated #5 West Virginia steamrolling them and Heisman leader Geno Smith to the tune of 49-14. Just hours after the game though, they lost one of their starting offensive lineman to the handcuffs of law enforcement.

Deveric Gallington, TTU's starting center, was arrested at a bar in Lubbock the night following the game. Police were called to Mesquites Sports Bar & Grill for what was labeled a large fight involving several people. Police did not ask for Gallington to take a breathalyzer because they could tell he was intoxicated after breaking up the fight. Gallington was ultimately charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct. Gallington was bonded out Sunday.

Gallington was a highly sought after High School star who has played 39 games for the Red Raiders between offensive guard and center.
