Philip Jurick C Oklahoma State

Oklahoma State center Philip Jurick started his career at the University of Tennessee, but took the junior college route before landing at Oklahoma State. The former 4 star prospect averaged 1.6 points, and over 4 rebounds a game, while being the teams 2nd leading shot blocker. After an arrest this past weekend, he could be on the outside looking in with OSU.

Police conducted a search of Jurick's dorm room on Saturday, and they found marijuana, a digital scale, and baggies. The search was after a routine maintenance check by RA's who found the drugs and paraphernalia. They informed police who subsequently got a search warrant. Jurick returned to his dorm during the search, and was arrested. He will be charged with marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jurick's stay has not been pleasant in Stillwater. His first season ended with an achilles tear which needed surgery, and he already had an incident with police this offseason, being charged with driving on a suspended license.
