Eric Wright CB Tampa Bay Buccaneers
You can take Eric Wright off of the Detroit Lions, but you can't take the Detroit Lions out of Eric Wright.
Wright, who signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this offseason after playing a season with the Detroit Lions, was arrested on charges of felony DUI in L.A. early this morning. Police responded to an accident at around 12:20 this morning. Wright was uninjured, admitted to drinking, but refused a breathalyzer and a field sobriety test. The other driver complained of pain, but refused medical attention.
Wright was kicked out of USC before heading to UNLV after he was accused of rape and police claimed that they found 136 pills of Extacy in his dorm room. Police later cited insufficient evidence to charge Wright with a crime.
Wright joined the NFL as a second round pick of the Cleveland Browns in 2011.
