Johnny Manziel QB Texas A&M

Former high school parade All-American Johnny Manziel was competing with Ryan Tannehill's primary backup last season sophomore Jameill Showers for the starting job this season, but an arrest may have helped head coach Kevin Sumlin's decision.

Manziel was stopped by police at around 2:00 A.M. after observing a fight in downtown College Station. Manziel's friend allegedly called a man a racial slur and approached the man, and Manziel allegedly shoved the man and yelled profanities when the bike cops intervened. Police asked for Manziel's ID and he showed them a fake ID that stated he was 21, but after checking his wallet they found another fake ID and his real ID, showing the redshirt freshman to be 19 years old.

Manziel was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, failure to identify, and possessing a false identification card.
