Tommy Rees QB Notre Dame

Irish QB Tommy Rees, currently in competition for the starting QB race, may have unintentionally dropped out of the race following his arrest that left him in jail with a possible felony.

Rees and a few other party goers jumped a fence and ran from police when they showed up to the party, and when they caught up to Rees he resisted arrest raising his knee into the officer and knocking the wind out of him. Rees continued to resist and had to be pepper sprayed to be subdued and handcuffed.

Notre Dame linebacker Carlo Calabrese was also arrested inn the incident, on charges of Disorderly Conduct after allegedly telling officers, "My people will get you."

Rees was ultimately arrested on preliminary charges of felony charge of battery on a police officer and misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest, minor consumption and public intoxication. He had a BAC of .11.
