In 2010, Mustafa Greene led North Carolina State as a true freshman in rushing with almost 600 yards and 4 touchdowns, and added nearly 300 yards and 2 touchdowns in the air. Last season he missed the entire year with a foot injury, and he's already been suspended for a week of spring practice for a violation of team rules. Now he might not be much longer for the program following a recent arrest.
On April 2nd Greene was pulled over and it was shown that he had an outstanding warrant from a traffic stop. Police went to his apartment and in it they found a grinder with marijuana residue in it. Greene had 6 traffic charges that led to the warrant, and now he has an additional possession of drug paraphernalia charge to deal with.
Greene is still a part of the program, but the program also returns there 2 leading rushers from last season who aren't the same headache.
