Cayman Shutter QB Hawaii

Hawaii Warriors QB Cayman Shutter played in one game last season, completing 1 of 2 passes for 13 yards against lowly UC Davis. Now an arrest has his position with the team for the start of the season is in question.

Shutter, 21, was seen weaving and speeding down the freeway when police pulled him over. His BAC was over the legal limit of .08 and he was arrested on suspicion of DUI at around 3:00 AM. No other details have been released yet.

Via, Hawaii Head Coach Norm Chow released a statement on the former 2 star recruits arrest;

We are aware of the incident involving one of our student-athletes. We are in the process of gathering all the facts. We have a code of conduct which our student-athletes are to adhere to and we expect them to represent both the university and football program to its highest integrity. We will make a follow-up statement at a later date after we gather all of the information
