Nate Collins DT Jacksonville Jaguars
Jacksonville Jaguars defensive tackle Nate Collins joined the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2010 out of Virginia. After rooming with Victor Cruz with New York, the Jaguars picked him up and he sat on the practice squad before making the team in 2011. This season he recorded 10 tackles and half a sack playing in 12 games, and is set to become an exclusive rights free agent.
For now though, he'll have to worry about the misdemeanor marijuana charge he picked up last Thursday.
Collins was pulled over for having an illegal tint at around 6 PM on February 23rd. Officers smelled marijuana emitting from the vehicle, and then Collins gave the officer permission to search his vehicle. Police then recovered a small amount of marijuana from the car. Collins wasn't arrested, but was issued a citation for possession of marijuana and the illegal tint.
