J.T. Thomas LB Chicago Bears
J.T. Thomas was drafted out of West Virginia in the 6th round this past season. He didn't play this season after being placed on the injured reserve in September. Now Thomas faces a misdemeanor drug charge following an interesting incident in Morgantown, West Virginia.
Thomas was pulled over for speeding the wrong way down a one way street. The police asked for his registration and when he pulled out a bundle it also contained two baggies of marijuana that fell out.
Thomas seems like a great role model outside of this, however. Thomas was in Morgantown raising money for his foundation which helps children with epilepsy. He also took an 8th grade girl with spina bifida that was confined to a wheel chair to a dance because the boys at her school rejected her. He then made bigger news when he brought a 14 year old with epilepsy to the Super Bowl with him.
