Osi Umenyiora DE New York Giants

New York Giants defensive endOsi Umenyiora saw his sack total drop from 15 to 9 over the year, dealing with injuries and a contract squabble which led to him only playing in 9 games with 7 starts. However, it hasn't stopped him from talking trash -- much like the rest of the New York Giants defense. When asked about Patriots offensive tackle Matt Light, who he has fought twice during his career, he had this to say:

I don’t know what it is that he does, but it’s something that he’s doing that really gets under my skin, Because I’m not that type of guy, you know what I mean? He’s probably the only person I’ve ever fought on a football field. I think [Light is] more important to his team than I am to mine right now, so if we can both fight, we both get kicked out and [Jason Pierre-Paul] and Tuck will have a field day.

So should we expect some good old Hockey intimidators to go out and take out one of the better players on the other team? I can only hope so. Would make this Super Bowl way more exciting.
