Fred Davis TE, Trent Williams OT Washington Redskins
During the Redskins game in which they lost to the New York Jets, it was reported that starting OT Trent Williams and starting TE Fred Davis were both suspended by the NFL for the remainder of the season for failing drug tests.
The report never states which drug that the two tested positive for, other than they were recreational drugs. Each player allegedly tested positive at least three times since entering the league, and two test failures since the lockout ended. The timing comes at a bad time for Fred Davis who will miss the final four games of his contract year in which he was a top contributor to the Redskins.
