Cliff Harris CB Oregon
We have rules and you either obey the rules or you don’t obey the rules, They make their decisions and if you can’t follow the rules, you’re not going to be a part of it.”
That's what Oregon Head Coach Chip Kelly said after stating that it was an easy decision to dismiss 2010 All-American cornerback Cliff Harris from his squad. It was announced that he was kicked off the team for the ever present "violation of team rules," but now it's come to light what actually led to his dismissal.
Harris, who once told a cop after getting pulled over in the hundred digits that "we smoked it all" referring to the weed smell coming from the car, was cited for marijuana on November 25th. He was walking with friends when he got stopped by cops and was charged with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. Already suspended at the point Harris, who turned 21 yesterday, made the stupid decision to get in trouble again. Now he's paying for it.
