Prince Fielder 1B Milwaukee Brewers
Soon-to-be Ex-Milwaukee Brewers first baseman Prince Fielder couldn't quite get the team into the World Series this year, losing in game 6 against the St. Louis Cardinals. Next year Brewer's fans won't likely be able to see their husky slugger hitting home runs in Miller Park anymore.
This year Fielder was the only player in the MLB to start every single one of the games on the 162 game schedule, as well as being 2nd in the NL in home runs, RBIs, and 3rd in slugging percentage, total bases and extra-base hits.
In September this year in an interview with a TBS reporter Fielder stated, "I'm signed for this year, but being real about it, it is probably the last year" Signaling the the Brewers faithful that to keep him, the wallet is going to need to open. He is reportedly looking for an 8 year $200 million contract.
