Rhett Bomar QB Minnesota Vikings
Vikings QB Rhett Bomar, who was kicked off of Oklahoma for getting paid for work that he did not do and later transfered to Sam Houston State, becomes the latest NFL player arrested, and the first arrested since training camp started.
After the Vikings night practice Saturday, and were off until later Sunday so Bomar decided to hit the town, and was arrested in downtown Mankato for driving under the influence. He was released on Sunday.
Bomar was drafted in the 5th round by the New York Giants in 2009, and was plucked off the practice squad last year by the Vikings. With Cristian Ponder, Donovan McNabb, and Joe Webb in the mix, he wasn't likely to make the team in the first place. Now things just got a bit harder.
Bomar was previously featured on Shot of Ginn for pissing on a building during a St. Patricks day parade.
