(Robert Jordan, Ole Miss)
Randall Mackey, who had been competing for the starting quarterback position at Ole Miss, will find his job a little bit harder after some off the field trouble will likely put him in head coach Houston Nutt's dog house. Mackey found himself in a night club fight at around midnight in a club called the Lyric. He was brought in and charged with a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge, and Houston Nutt has already specified that Mackey, who had supposedly taken the lead for the job, will be suspended for the season opener against BYU.
No other details regarding the arrest have been released yet.
