Incoming freshman Kansas linebacker Benjamin Heeney couldn't even make it to the beginning of the season to get locked up, as he was arrested July 16 at 3:15 AM, and subsequently plead not guilty, to charges of driving drunk and racing on a highway.
No other additional information is out regarding this arrest, other than he has a September court date for the offenses. And that he probably didn't win. Don't know what he's more ashamed about, losing or getting arrested. He's probably using the "well I was too drunk to win a drag race on the highway," pssh. Excuses are like assholes.
