Marcus Sales WR Syracuse

Syracuse senior WR Marcus Sales was slotted to start next season for the squad, but a recent arrest puts his chances of sticking with the program in danger.

Marcus, and his brother Michael Jr., were pulled over at around 9:45 PM for running a red light. Officers noticed a strong marijuana smell coming from the car, and Marcus didn't have his license, only showing the officers his SU identification card. In the car following a search, police found three baggies of marijuana, a plastic bag containing 180 Lortab pills, three scales, a cup full of gin, and and apparently an assortment of other baggies containing devil, superman, and pitbull pictures on them.

Both were charged with fifth and seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second degree criminally using drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana, while Marcus also got charged with running a red light, consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle and violating the city’s open container law.
