DeVonte Holloman S South Carolina

South Carolina Gamecocks starting safety DeVonte Holloman was arrested just a day after a fellow defensive back Victor Hampton was dismissed from the team on charges of DUI. He was arrested at a police sobriety checkpoint along with 11 other people.

Holloman, a Junior, has played in every game the last two seasons and drew 12 starts. He was slated to be a starter next season for the 'Cocks but USC has publicly stated in the past that any player arrested will receive and immediate suspension. Luckily for Holloman, head coach Steve Spurrier apparently doesn't boot starters (Stephen Garcia) he only boots backups (Victor Hampton.)
