Darius Ashley CB Louisville
In December of 2010 Louisville CB Darius Ashley got his first DUI when he was found passed out in his car at a restaurant with the car still in gear. He got off easy after pleading guilty, a 30 day license suspension during which he had to complete an alcohol assessment.
Now on Saturday, less than 7 months following his first embarrassing arrest he found himself behind bars on similar charges, but he did it in a surprisingly more stupid manner. This time at a stop light he decided to plow his vehicle into the back of a police cruiser, which is usually what you're trying to avoid when you're driving drunk. He claims he was distracted, and told police that he only had "4 beers" but then proceeded to blow a .186 -- more than twice the legal limit.
Ashley, an presumed starter for the upcoming season, was charged with driving under the influence.
