Reche Caldwell WR Ex-New England Patriots
Donald Caldwell, more commonly known during his NFL days as Reche Caldwell, is a former 2nd round selection out of Florida that played 6 seasons for the Chargers, Patriots, Redskins and Rams. The last time he played in an NFL game is in 2007 when he was a member of the Washington Redskins.
After a license check this on Thursday, police pulled over Caldwell when they realized that he had a suspended license. The car was impounded, but upon searching the vehicle they found a baggie of marijuana next to the drivers seat, and Caldwell was subsequently charged with possession of marijuana and driving on a suspended license. He was released on $750 bond.
The best year of his career came in 2006 with the New England Patriots when he accumulated 760 yards and 4 touchdowns. That year was also the year he dropped a game winning touchdown pass in the AFC Championship game that put the Colts in the Super Bowl to face Rex Grossman and the hapless Bears. Patriots may have cake walked to another ring, leaving Peyton Manning on the Dan Marino level still.
