Louis Bland LB Washington State
Cougars LB Louis Bland continues the marijuana problem at Washington State with his arrest on the charges of suspicion of possession of stolen property, possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance.
Police were called to Bland's house for a noise complaint when they smelled marijuana coming from his home. They went and got a warrant, and came back to search his home where they found a marijuana cigar on the floor, a small medicine bottle containing marijuana, and some "green vegetable matter" on the floor. The stolen property that he was found in possession of was a stop sign, and the controlled substance they found was white powder in his bedroom which tested negative for cocaine and heroin, and led the police to believe it was a crushed up pill.
Earlier this year he was arrested and charged with 2nd degree assault following a domestic incident. He was suspended from the team following that incident, and might be looking at a dismissal following this one.
Bland becomes the 5th WSU football player arrested on drug charges since last October.
