Dorian Bell LB Ohio State
Redshirt sophomore linebacker Dorian Bell backed up NFL Draft pick Ross Homan last year, accounting for 9 tackles, a half of a sack, and a forced fumble. He was widely expected as a former five star recruit to take over the position and start for the Buckeyes.
Until he got suspended for the entire season.
Bell, according to sources, has been suspended for the team for the entire 2011 season following what's believed to be a third violation of the programs drug and alcohol abuse policy. He redhirted his true freshman year due to personal issues. He was suspended for the Sugar Bowl in January for undisclosed reasons, and it's not hard to realize it was likely the first or second violation of the policy that got him suspended.
