Buccaneers DL Alex Magee started his career as a third round pick out of Purdue for the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2009 draft. By October 2010, he already had a new team after getting traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for conditional draft picks. Now he becomes the 13th NFL coach or player to get arrested since the lockout began on March 11.
Police stopped Magee for having an expired tag, and when they came to the car they noticed a strong smell of marijuana. A search came and police found marijuana. In the end he was charged with possession of marijuana (a misdemeanor) and having an expired tag greater than six months.
Magee has 4 sacks in three years with the two organizations. He has only started one of the 25 games he has played.
