Tom Zbikowski S Baltimore Ravens

Tom Zbikowski, Baltimore Ravens safety/undefeated cruiserweight, brought his professional boxing record to 4-0 after beating yet another nobody in the ring. Now, after winning his last fight by first round knockout he has been suspended from boxing after testing positive for marijuana. The suspension is 45 days.

His boxing coach, however, is skeptical saying this:

We’re appealing it, After the fight, all the fighters tested were positive. They had you pee in a cup and put a strip of something in there. I’ve never seen results where you get them the day of the fight. It was like a home pregnancy test or something.”

So they're expecting another test which is supposed to prove that he was clean , what, a week after the first positive test? Yeah that'll prove it. It's not known whether a positive test in another sport will go against the NFL's substance abuse policy in this lockout/non-lockout/whatever it is.

Update: Just like that, Zbikowski's 45 game suspension has been rescinded after sending in a different test. Says Zbikowski's boxing manager Mike Joyce:
We’re grateful the Chickasaw Nation acted in such a expeditious manner, We knew Tommy has never used any illegal or banned substances.”
