Kenny Britt WR Tennessee Titans

Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt keeps finding himself in the dumbest amount of trouble. He never gets arrested for doing something like other NFL player who have gotten arrested before him. He's always doing something that's just so completely stupid I can't even comprehend it. First he joined a fight already in progress at a club between a friend and another guy almost as to just try and get into trouble, but luckily for him, no charges were filed. Then he was accused of creating or reinforcing a false impression by stating in open court that he would pay the bail amount when he didn't pay the bail for his friend that he promised to pay. Said friend was arrested 5 months later for murdering a 17 year old.

Now he decides to run from the police for no apparent reason after being pulled over for speeding. It's completely reasonable to think that because he received no violations for his driving or his car he would have gotten a warning or just a speeding citation if he had just gotten pulled over, and since he was driving his Porsche, it's also reasonable to believe that he could pay for a speeding ticket 21 over the speed limit.

Instead he decided to lead the police on a car chase, weaving in and out of traffic, only to pull over at a later time where he and his passenger got out of the car. Not surprisingly the police caught up to the stationary car and saw him and his passenger walking away. His passenger ran, and just like most of the time you run from the police, he got caught. He was charged with possession of marijuana, resisting arrest, and obstructing governmental function.

Britt denied driving the car or that he was even in the car, but he caved and said that he was driving once they questioned him about the Tennessee license plate on the car (He was in New Jersey). Should have listened to Ari Gold's advice, "Deny til you Die."

Britt has been charged with charged with eluding an officer, lying to an officer hindering apprehension, and obstructing governmental function following a police stop. Eluding an Officer is third degree felony. Sounds like something had to have been happening for them to speed away like that, especially with marijuana in the car.

Or most likely, it was just stupidity.
