Chris Martin DL, Kedric Johnson LB Florida
Just after Janoris Jenkins received his second marijuana charge in the year of 2011, it comes out that two more people Backup LB Kedric Johnson, and defensive lineman Chris Martin (left) were both charged in seperate incidents with marijuana.
Redshirt sophomore Johnson was charged when he was pulled over for speeding and the officers smelled marijuana on January 9th. Johnson revealed 2 grams on marijuana from his glove compartment. Johnson agreed to a deferred prosecution, so the charge didn't go to trial.
Martin is a redshirt freshman who was supposed to compete for a starting job for next season was charged when police noticed the scent of marijuana coming from a car. He was in the car, and when asked by police he provided them with almost 2 grams of marijuana. He also agreed to a deferred prosecution. Martin is a former five star recruit who was forced to sit out a season after transferring from Cal.
A total of 3 players have 4 arrests for marijuana since head coach Will Muschamp took over the head coaching job a little over four months ago.
