Washington Huskies RB Johri Fogerson, who started his career at safety before moving to running back, has been arrested and charged with resisting arrest and possession of marijuana of 40 grams or less.
Fogerson was pulled over at around 12:30 AM on Thursday because a headlight was out on the black Lexus he was driving. Police then noticed a baggie inside the car and ordered him out to be placed in handcuffs. When the police attempted to place Fogerson in handcuffs, he ran from the police. Police searched for him, but clearly using his running back technique he found the holes and passed the goal line.
Roughly 3 hours later police received a phone call that Fogerson wanted to meet with the police to turn himself in, and that his mother would be present with him. Shortly before 4 AM he turned himself in to the police. He was jailed for roughly 4 hours, being released just before 11:00 AM on $1,000 bail.
Fogerson had one carry for 6 yards last season, mainly because he had a hip injury that knocked him out for the season. Washington had been hoping for a medical hardship for him to play behind there star RB Chris Polk.
If he doesn't get his medical hardship, at least he's got his rap career to fall back on however. If coach decides they don't want him anymore after this arrest, he may want to stop rapping about Washington however.
