Mitch Mustain QB USC
Mitch Mustain was 8-0 as a starting QB for the Arkansas Razorbacks before he decided to transfer to the USC Trojans where he only started one game last season in place of an injured Matt Barkley. His eligibility is up at USC now, and he can only hope to have a Matt Cassel type story and get drafted after not starting at USC. Instead of having that happen, he decided to go get arrested for selling prescription drugs instead. The charge is a felony, and the bail was set at $10,000.
Of course, how he was selling them was just downright stupid. He decided to place the listings on Craigs List for his Adderall, and of course who wouldn't have expected a police officer to call him up for the purchase. No one saw that coming.
Update: Mustain isn't going to be charged with a felony -- for now. Mustain was selling the officer a drug called "lisdexamfetamine dimesylate" which is not a controlled substance. However, he was trying to sell it as if it was a controlled substance, which could result in a felony. The county prosecutors decided that since Mustain's record was spotless they weren't going to charge him with the felony.
