Matt Tau’fo’ou LB Iowa State
Matt Tau’fo’ou of Iowa State continues the big spur of College Football Arrests with his own charge of DUI. He was arrested Saturday morning and immediately suspended from the Cyclons football team. Going with how every player is suspended the statement released said that he was suspended for "failing to comply with team expectations and policies". He was pulled over at around 2:13 AM and the police chief stated that, “His driving was consistent with that of someone who was possibly driving while intoxicated." He allegedly blew "greater than .08" before he was arrested. This is his second arrest since joining Iowa State, being arrested for 5th degree misdemeanor theft when he stole a wireless computer adapter from a book store. Last season he started 2 games and played in 5 while dealing with nagging injuries.
