Legedu Naanee WR San Diego Chargers

San Diego Chargers WR Legedu Naanee is a former 5th round pick from WAC super power Boise State. Before this year he had career highs of 24 catches, 242 yards, and 2 touchdowns. For his career -- He doesn't even have 800 yards, and only had 3 touchdowns. To top that off, he has only started 10 games, though injuries hindered him this past year. Ask an average fan, he probably wouldn't have a clue who he is. If you ask someone who's not a Chargers fan, a Boise State fan, or a Draft nut, he probably wouldn't have a clue who he is. It's not like his jersey is flying off the shelves.

So of course while he's getting arrested for public intoxication, he would say, "Do you know who I am?"

It all started when Naanee wandered into a scene and attempted to walk into a active crime scene that was taped off where a homicide had recently taken place. He was stopped by police and told to find a different way home because this was a crime scene, Naanee then proceeded to politely ask the officers, "Why are you being an Asshole?" Officers noticed a smell of alcohol coming from his mouth, as well as his blood shot, glassy eyes. Officer's kept asking him to leave, he kept refusing calling them assholes, so they informed him he was under arrest.

Of course, then he wanted to go. He tried to pull away from officer's when they tried to place him under arrest grabbing his left arm. He continued to resist, so the officer sprayed him with pepper spray. He continued to resist pulling away and tucking his hands, and then they got him to the ground. Still -- he continued to resist so an officer kneed him in the side twice and then he was finally hand cuffed and placed under arrest. Then he laid down the awesome line of, "Do you know who I am? I'm an NFL player and I'm going to sue your ass." A man, believed to be his agent, came up and asked the officers to release him, and stated that the cops were going to ruin his career. That might not be too far from the truth, as he is to become a free agent, and now likely to be signed at a discount price. All because he thought a homicide scene was the A Bar.

Police reports can be found on Deadspin.
