Wideout Melvin Harris was curiously suspended for the Egg Bowl, which pits in state rivals Ole Miss and Mississippi State, for the usual "violation of unspecified team rules". The Ole Miss receiver had those unspecified team rules specified when it came out that he was arrested for DUI, which led to his arrest. Harris was cited for DUI November 21st following the teams loss to the LSU Tigers. He was stopped at 2:44 AM, and no other details have emerged yet. Harris is currently second on the team in receptions, yards, and receiving touchdowns despite missing the last game.
