Brandon Sanders, a sophomore linebacker for the Ole Miss Rebels, was arrested on November 2nd for marijuana possession and driving under the influence. He ended up pleading guilty to the charges on November 16th and paid fines of over $1,300. Head Coach Houston Nutt has stated that he is looking to transfer to a lower program. Sanders was already under an indefinite suspension, that started in September.
Sanders played in 11 games his redshirt freshman year, and appeared in the season opener this year prior to getting his suspension.
