Baker Steinkuhler DL Nebraska

Baker Steinkuhler, a starting defensive tackle for the Nebraska Cornhuskers, was arrested for DUI early Tuesday morning, and now will be out for the Holiday Bowl against Washington. Police saw Steinkuhler driving his 1993 Ford Explorer (I guess he wasn't getting improper benefits...) without it's head lights on, and also observed him making a turn without a turn signal. He was pulled over at 1:45 and a breathalyzer revealed his BAC to be .115, which is above the .08 limit. His drunk ass was taken to a detox center, and his first court date will be on January 4th. The redshirt Sophomore has started 13 games this season, racking up 46 tackles and 3.5 sacks.

Update: Steinkuhler has been blaced on 9 month probation following this DUI arrest. In addition he received a $400 fine and will have his license suspended for 60 days. Looks like he'll have to call a taxi cab... which... he... should... have... done... in... the... first... place...
