Greg Townsend wasn't alone in having his story called out by ex-NFL agent Josh Luchs, in fact 30 players were mentioned in the SI article, including Baltimore Ravens great, and future Hall of Famer Jonathan Ogden. However, Ogden didn't accept money from the agent, nope, he accepted tickets to a Janet Jackson concert, and also handed over a bit of his dignity. Again, the story from SI:
Jonathan Ogden didn't accept money, but he did take Luchs's tickets to see Janet Jackson in concert. "I went with a 6'9" guy who weighed more than 300 pounds and who screamed "Janet!" the whole night like a teenage girl.
Ogden, the first ever draft choice by the Baltimore Ravens in 1996 at #4 overall, admitted to this claim as described at the end of the article. Which is something I would never do. Maybe I'd say I accepted the tickets and gave them to my little sister, but apparently that's not the case. It did not specify if he "screamed "Janet!" the whole night like a teenage girl.' but since it didn't NOT specify it, we can only claim it to be true. If I ever meet the 11 time Pro Bowler, I'm sure to flash a little nipple jewelry, just to see how he reacts.
