DeQuinta "D.D." Jones DT Arkansas

DeQuinta "D.D." Jones, who has started all 7 games for the Arkansas Razorbacks, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance this morning just before 7:30 AM. Jones was apparently pulled over at 12:37 AM for driving with no license lights, and when he was pulled over there was an "overwhelming" odor of marijuana. The officer gave Jones a consensual pat down, and asked if he could look in his pocket. Jones responded, "Why?" and the officer asked how much marijuana he had since he felt it through the top of his pocket, and he said, "about a quarter." The officer then found 8.7 grams of marijuana in his pocket, and he was arrested. Jones has 22 tackles and a forced fumble on the season.

Suspension update: Jones received a 1 game suspension from head coach  Bobby Petrino following his marijuana arrest. He will sit out the Vanderbilt game, and Lavunce Askew will start. DeQuinta out, Lavunce in.
