Edgerrin James RB Ex-Seattle Seahawks
Edgerrin James, who has a career rushing average of 4 yards per carry, averaged just 3.8 and 3.9 yards a carry as an Arizona Cardinal during his 2 years there. Whatever, the Cardinals suck and they can't run anyways, right? Change of scenery should have helped him. So he went to the Seattle Seahawks and averaged just 2.7 a carry while Justin Forsett averaged 5.4 behind the same line. . Nevermind, maybe he is just over the hill. Its no surprise that he hasn't gotten a bit of interest as a free agent recently, as many free agents over the age of 30 don't get bites in free agency anymore. From leading the league in rushing both his rookie and sophomore season and attending 4 Pro Bowls, to not getting a single taste in free agency 11 years later, his career may or may not be over.
