Eugene Lockhart LB Dallas Cowboys

Eugene Lockhart, the first rookie to ever start at MLB for the Dallas Cowboys, was arrested for violating the terms of his release while he was awaiting trial for a mortgage fraud case. Back in May he failed a drug test which led to this arrest, he tested positive for Cocaine. When you think about it, what else did you expect? He played for the Cowboys in the 1980's and '90's. That was like a pregame snack to them. In his 8 year career with the Cowboys and the New England Patriots he amassed 16 sack and 6 interceptions.

The federal mortgage fraud case is Eugene and 8 others were accused of arranging mortgages by inflated prices to profit, and the 9 were brought in by the FBI on charges of conspiracy, bank fraud, wire fraud, and other various charges. The scheme included 54 fraudulent property loan closings and $20.54 million in fraudulent loans.
