Elvis Dumervil OLB Denver Broncos
Elvis Dumervil wanted a new contract from the Denver Broncos, kind of like Brandon Marshall and Jay Cutler did, but he didn't bitch and moan and pout during practices. In return he didn't get traded to the Miami Dolphins or the Chicago bears, instead he got him self a brand new huge contract. The leagues leader in sacks set a team record with 17 during the regular season. The contract has a base salary of $61.5 million over 6 years. This now opens up some players, like Darrelle Revis, to complain about other teams getting big money contracts done, while they're respective teams are dragging there feet waiting for a new CBA.
Standing just 5 foot 11, Dumervil slipped all the way to pick 126 in round 4 to the Denver Broncos. Now in 4 seasons he has 43 sacks, 10 forced fumbles, an interception, and 129 tackles.
