Charles Woodson CB Green Bay Packers
Charles Woodson had an amazing season, and even though the Packers lost in the wild card in an exciting game against the Arizona Cardinals, he was awarded the Defensive Player of the Year for his great play this year. He had 9 interceptions (3 of which were returned for touchdowns), 74 tackles, 2 sacks, 18 pass defenses, and 4 forced fumbles... and Holy Shit Jets fans, and douche bag of a head coach Rex Ryan, are pissed. Woodson doubled the votes of Jets CB Darrelle Revis who everyone argues is the best cornerback because he shut down a bunch of good WR's. He just isn't a playmaker like Charles Woodson. Last time I checked this award was for "Defensive Player of the Year" not "Cornerback of the Year", so I don't understand why fat ass Rex Ryan and butthurt Jets fans are complaining that sacks and forced fumbles are taken into consideration. In the end, it doesn't matter. This award is getting propped up right next to his Heisman trophy.
