David Vobora LB St. Louis Rams
David Vobora, a 7th round pick from Idaho by the St. Louis Rams. He was more than a 7th round selection, he was the final pick in the entire draft, pick 252, otherwise known as "Mr. Irrelevant". And he got the starting job on the shitty Rams last year, and you better believe that every fucking single news outlet had the "clever" 'MR. IRRELEVANT HOW ABOUT MR. RELEVANT HUH HUH!!" title. Well looks like Mr. Irrelevant is Mr. "Steroids made me relevant" since he tested positive for a banned substance. Of course though, Goodell didn't put that supplement on the list, and it was tainted. Just like the Williams sisters on Minny. So get ready for another long, drawn out, non suspension for some guy that doesn't actually have relevant playing time.
Update: Well 2 years ago I was pretty hard on a guy who didn't do anything wrong. David Vobora had been suing the company that made the supplements that led to his suspension, and in the end he won $5.4 million, aka the salary of Jake Delhomme in this upcoming season. The monetary amount was for the 4 game checks he missed as well as possible endorsement opportunities. Vobora has started 16 games in the last 3 years, including 5 last season.
