Bengals CB Leon Hall, a first round pick in 2007 out of Michigan, was arrested early Sunday morning for DUI at 3:11 AM. Hall was driving to the left of the yellow lines when the Ohio State Patrol stopped him and noticed that he had red bloodshot eyes and smelled like booze. Hall told the officer that he had to rush home because his wife said he needed too because his wife was having a baby, and admitted that he had been drinking. Breathalyzer revealed a .149, above the .08 legal limit in Ohio.
Before people make jokes about how bad the Bengals are, 30 NFL teams have had arrests before this last Bengal got arrested.
In a somewhat related story, in a way that they aren't really related at all but I didn't want to post an entire new story, highly touted NCAA football recruit Antwon Chisholm, a small, explosive RB is facing felony charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, disorderly conduct, and marijuana possession after a brawl. The brawl involved over 20 people throwing punches, chairs, trays, and probably just about anything they could find. A DL from the school was also charged with disorderly conduct.
Chisholm had offers from West Virginia, Georgia, and Rutgers, but could miss the next year of athletics due to the felony. He maintains his innocence.
